Change log 1.1


Some changes were made to Nope! based on player and GM feedback. 

Stress

  • Players now gain 1 stress on a 3-4 result, and 2 stress on a 1-2 result.
  • Players no longer regain stress on a 5+ result.
  • You can only Check Out once per game.

The feeling that stress never got...stressful was a common point of feedback. Playtesting with these new rules made for a more tense atmosphere without being overly punishing.

Clarification

  • Removed d12 from the dice chain, as Resiliencies don't go that high.
  • Added: "If an obstacle in your way is purely physical, the GM will simply give you a yes or no, without needing a die roll." This is meant to reinforce what players are actually meant to be rolling for in this game.

A usable Google Sheet character keeper has been added for general use.
