Nope!

Ok, so this seems bad, sure. Things are…off. A strange cloying fog has rolled in, and it looks like things are moving in it. There are sounds you can’t identify, and you’re not sure where they’re coming from. Is that…blood? No. There’s got to be a reasonable explanation for all of this. Of course there is.

But...what if you're wrong?

Nope turns the investigative horror genre on its side, as the players make rolls to rationalize away the strange and spooky things they encounter. But as the investigation wears on, your powers of denial weaken, creating a natural pacing mechanism to bring in the weird bit by bit until it's screaming in your face. Built on the Breathless system, Nope! is easy to pick and play for a no prep one-shot.

If you have fun with this game and are left wanting more, fear not! Keep an eye out for an announcement about crowdfunding in the near future. Nope! will be expanded out into a full sized zine with more horrific content, and get a physical print run!
