You awake from cryo-sleep to blaring alarms and gunfire. You are stow aways on a science vessel, and the ship has been boarded by pirates looking to make a quick payday. However, what the research team picked up on their archeological expedition will make blood thirsty pirates the least of your problems. No matter how many millennia pass, evil never dies.

In this supernatural sci-fi one shot stow aways on a doomed space craft have to fend off pirates while an awakening lich enacts a ritual to return to his full power and tear a hole in the cosmos. Inspired by films like Event Horizon and The Void, and games like Breathless and Liminal Horror.

Wake the Dead is a pick up and play quick start that is designed to teach Doom Keepers (our term for Game Master) and Survivors (players) alike to play The Decay: Survival Horror Roleplaying. Through a blend of guided play, and tools to take the story in your own direction, this is perfect for both first time GMs and veterans to the hobby.

The Decay: Survival Horror Roleplaying is a tabletop roleplaying game that puts the pressure on the players from the very first die roll. Every roll they make reduces their faculties and brings them closer to an early grave. Survivors will have the best and worst brought out of them as they struggle to see one more sunrise.
